AACB welcomes newest Board Member

The Association of Australian Convention Bureaux (AACB) is excited to announce the latest addition to its Board – Gareth Martin, newly appointed CEO of the Perth Convention Bureau (PCB).

AACB President, Michael Matthews said, “We congratulate Gareth on his recent appointment as CEO of PCB and welcome him to the AACB Board. Gareth brings a wealth of experience to AACB, having been with PCB for 11 years.”

“We look forward to tapping into Gareth’s strategic, commercial and creative approach to resolving some of the industry’s most challenging issues including the significant increase in global competition for business events.”

Mr Martin added, “I’m looking forward to collaborating with the AACB Board and the Business Events sector nationally.”

Mr Martin’s appointment to the AACB Board reinforces the Association’s national voice and increases its representation to more than 1,800 tourism and events industry operators across Australia through its convention bureau members.
