AACB appoints new Marketing and Communications Manager

CANBERRA: The Association of Australian Convention Bureaux (AACB) is excited to announce Ms Katrina Pawley as the newly appointed Marketing and Communications Manager.

Katrina has over a decade of experience in marketing, communications, stakeholder engagement and event management across government, corporate and not-for-profit industries. Having embodied the national voice for Australian airports at the Australian Airports Association Katrina’s industry experience will be of immense benefit to the AACB.

As Marketing and Communications Manager for the AACB, Katrina will explore new initiatives as well as opportunities to promote the AACB through the success of its members.

Andrew Hiebl, CEO at AACB said, “With a key focus on progressing the organisation’s profile, this role will be instrumental in enhancing the AACB as the thought leader on business events in Australia.”

Ms Pawley added, “I’m looking forward to joining the team and collaborating with the business events sector nationally.”

Katrina commences with the AACB in December 2019.
